The Sabelt Porsche 991 and 981 GT4 6 Point Harness, part number SABCFCI2210062, is a clip-in 6-point harness approved to FIA 8853-2016. Shoulder and lap webbing are 2 inch. Aircraft-type buckle. HANS specific. Available in black, blue and red.

This harness is built to the specific mounting geometry of the Porsche 991 and 981 GT4 chassis. In these cars the rear shoulder anchor points, the cockpit width and the angle from the seat to the harness bar are fixed by Porsche’s design. A universal-fit saloon harness fitted to these cars can result in incorrect strap angles because the chassis geometry does not match the assumptions behind a generic harness layout. This harness is configured for the correct angles from the start.

HANS specific means the shoulder geometry is set for use with a HANS device, which is mandatory in most competition series where this car is used.

Aircraft buckle with clip-in installation suits the 991 and 981 GT4 rear harness mounting arrangement.

For Porsche 997 competition use, separate harnesses are available configured for that generation: the Silver Porsche 997 6 Point GT Harness (2100165) and the Silver Enduro 997 GT3 (2100167). For passenger or co-driver use in 996 and 997 cars, the Porsche 996 and 997 4 Point Passenger Harness (SABCFCI2594) is available separately.

Does it work with a HANS device?
Yes: only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device, and this belt qualifies. If you run a device, check whether you want the HANS-specific shoulder cut and ask us which suits your setup.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.
